4xconexant fusion 878a problem
hi
i have a card with 4xconexant fusion 878a chips,4 ports
with one black/white indoor camera
and
one full colour outdoor camera connected
system is slack10.1
fist of all the driver is loading really long (5-10mins)
after the system is loaded i wanna try it on xawtv first
but all i can see is blue and black screens on all
of the composits (16)

Re: 4xconexant fusion 878a problem
Make sure that if you have differant palette types, they are using differaent 878 chips. You can't mix palettes on one chip.angelhod wrote: i have a card with 4xconexant fusion 878a chips,4 ports

Always the case when the card is not properly configured.angelhod wrote: system is slack10.1

hi
well i missed that Cordel wrote about 133,132,133,133....
now i can see streaming video signal only from black/white camera
wich is connected to port4 (composite3), the colour camera which is connected to port1 (composite0) still has a blue screen and after 2-3 mins of viewing composite3 system is restarting
looking forward for more ideas...

.
i know how to define monitors in ZM
but i have no idea how i can check those settings that You gave
if i can see only one video device (/dev/video0) after the module is
loaded....
it looks like just one device with 16 composits...
It sould have given you four devices.
Also yes you will have 0-15 composit inputs but they are assigned to the chip through you device setting.

configuration :

35. lalalala Monitor /dev/video2 (2)
the first one is the colour one.... and it is set up to rgb24 pallette
so why both are grey?
