Hi James, I just put 2 and 2 together and figured out you wrote the windows viewer. My applogies for my remarks earlier...
Is there a way to autoload one of the saved views? or do you have to click on it each time you launch the viewer?

lol ok mate, i apologise for mine too as you dont seem to be lazy. It may suprise you to know that i own my own business too! lol
Anyway if you go to the settings button there should be a default view selcetion, ie it has the normal views and ones marked c1 and c2, these should open the requested custom view on start
