Camera with Colour

Goodday,

i have 2x 4port Capture Card but running Zoneminder

i cant see Colour from the Camera Monitor i have chosen 24 bit colour bot the video monitor turns red and stays red

Tested in xawtv tested fine very crisp and clear 24 bit colour video stream..

any ideas?

If it works in b/w and not colour i would suggest your capturing at a highish res ie 640x480. Try dropping to 320x240 and see if that helps if so you need to incresed your shared mem. Do a search for shared mem. Also check your logs as that will tell you whats wrong too

That was exatly what the problem was i ran the command

and all was well
