Axis 2100 v2.02 and Zoneminder with Password

Post by drock2006 »

I am trying to get a AXIS 2100 network camera working with zoneminder. I have non-networked cameras working fine with zoneminder, so I am going to go out on a bridge and say my installation and configuration is working fine. Don't stone me too bad.

The IP address of the network camera is 10.10.10.1.
I am using the following configuration as a Monitor.

Source Type = Remote
Function = Monitor
Enabled = Check
Max FPS = 0
Reference Blend = 7

Source
-----------
Remote Host = Http://10.10.10.1
Port = 80
Path = /cgi-bin/hugesize.jpg?motion=0 (Not sure this is right)
Colours = 8-bit gray
width = 320
height = 240

FYI. There is a password required to view it from it native web site. I don't know how to tell zoneminder to use a username and password or how to remove the password all together from the AXIS 2100.

With the above configuration I just get a red Http://10.10.10.1 under the Source on the main page.

Thanks in Advance and Yes I have it working under SLACKWARE. SLACKWARE Rocks@@@ :shock:

To be honest while your learnign and playing id disable all the security and add that at the end once you know all is good!
