export and stream mpeg video?
I have installed the CD and setup a camera on zm with little to know problem, but when I try to switch the "video streaming method" or "export an event" to a video i get errors or no picture. Does the streaming / video export features not come pre-installed on the fedora 3 CD version? I found a binary on the server for ffmpeg, but I'm not sure if it was complied in.
If this is not a standard feature, what is the best way to install it?
Thanks.

I beleive the cd was built with a minor 'mistake' and the yum update will fix that when corey's servers are back. Unfortunatly i dont use the vid creation of zm so i personally cannot help here

The server is now somewhat online.
I'm looking into getting an account at godaddy to place everything. The only thing really left to figure out is how to limit the amount of data transfered per month so that I don't end up with a supprize bill one day
once I figure out how to manage that, then I will transfer every thing over to godaddy and we can enjoy the larger bandwidth
Cheers,
Corey

Thanks for getting the server back up! I did run into a problem when I updated though. After everything was downloaded and it began to install everything I got this error:
Any ideas on what I can / should do about this?warning: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 475c5926

is already installed but is not the correct key for this package.
Check that this is the correct key for the "CTU Core 3 - i386 - Released Updates" repository.

Curl is a fedora built package and requires the Fedora key:
rpm --import http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/f ... KEY-fedora
I will fix this in the next release.

Video options still not working
Ok, I have yet another question for you guys. (This time I searched first )
Before I was told that upgrading via yum would fix the video issues. (I.E. Trying to view the streams in video mode as opposed to jpeg and saving an event as video.) After upgrading from your server (thanks by the way) still none of the video options work? Any ideas on how to get that up and running?

I have made a new package zm-1.22.0-1.8 that corrects several issues and also is built on the ffmpeg cvs snapshot from 12-2005.
The web/update server is in a different location and I forgot the login info that I had setup for the ftp
I also have no video server setup to test with at the moment, so I might need a couple people to check it for me at the moment
Regards,
Corey
