Upgrade from 1.21.4 w/RPM's didn't fly

I did stop zm first, it didn't give me message about updating db. When I try to start zm it says: You must run zmupdate.pl manualy
So I tried that with -f option, I get:

Update agent starting at 06/03/20 03:26:05

Freshening configuration in database
Loading config from DB
Saving config to DB
Update agent exiting at 06/03/20 03:26:05

Then trying to start zm again I still get the same You must run zmupdate.pl manualy

What can I check to fix this ?

update the database

The command you enetered above only freshens it.
zmupdate.pl --version= <?>

Thanks ! that did the trick, took me a sec to figure out I was to type in version to upgrade from & not to, but it works fine now.
