zma processes are running for deleted monitors

Post by mahendrar »

Hello friends,

I have got the ZM-1.22.0 runnuing on FC4.
I had earlier configured two Monitors and then deleted them.

After a while i configured those cameras again, but when i did a "ps" i found that there are two zmas running for those deleted monitor ids as well.

Thanks,

Mahendra

I will take a look at this. Can you break down into what you did in a little more detail and in individual steps.

Thanks Phil for your quick reply.

I configured two cameras which are attached to /dev/video0 and /dev/video1.

After some time I intentionally deleted these cameras and configured them again.

When i did 'su - apache --shell=/bin/sh --command=ps x' i came to know that the zma are running for the monitor ids which i already deleted.

As in ZM-1.22.0 we can not delete a monitor from web interface i modified the page zm_actions.php according to post

http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5567.
Does there anything which is missing in this soultion to delete monitor.

When i restart the zm service this problem does not exist.

Thanks
Mahendra
