I have just been playing with a 206m and found a server status thingy. It reported that its 15 min load was 0.99 and that it was running kernel 2.4.24. Thus cam is connected to a sempron 2800+ and it 15 min load is 2.33, with only this camera running,
So my question is where can i find the immensly powerful arm thingys that go in these cams and how to a build a system with them, or am i missing something??!!??
ie how can i find out how axis optimise the cam for jpegs

A load of 2.3 for one IP cam seems very high? Where was all the processor going?
My 'day job' at the moment is developing Linux systems on Arms and I can tell you I've had pocket calculators with more uumph! I don't know how Axis squeeze all the performance out of the cams, possibly with a co-processor or maybe with custom libraries. I'd like to know myself!
