being the noob here, i was wondering the chances of running zone minder with something like damn small linux, or puppy linux or anything tiny?>
is it possible? and can anybody point in me in the direction of learning to do this? i would like to build a DVR asap, for a client, but have it run on flash and the dvr just capture to my hard disk, probably a 300 gig hdd
also, if i were to manage this setup, or run something like debian sarge, what would be my approximate hardware requirement with motion capture either on or off, and 30 FPS on 4 cameras? i read the docs, but am still a bit puzzled
