ZM not recording properly w/filter?

Post by 8ace »

I wonder if anyone can advise. Running in RECORD mode v1.21.3 FC3. I have standard filter to discard old recordings when it reaches 90%. But the problem is if I click on Events and view the most resent, I can see some recordings are missing:

8:30, 8:20, 8:00, 7:50 ... so far so good...
6:50, 3:20 .... it just get's more bizarre!

The weird thing is that this happened to me on an old version of ZM so it must be something I'm doing. Clues anyone? Have shown my events and filter below. thx! :-)

I checked one of the cameras in "RECORD" mode and it recorded at....

09:20 (good) 09:10 (good) 09:00 (good) 08:50(good) 08:40 (good)
0130 (bad! missed half the night!) 0120 (good) etc., etc.

Can you have a quick look at your zmaudit log? There was a problem in a previous version with zmaudit cleaning up too enthusiastically and it might be something to do with that.

sorry - been away from my pc for a while!

So.... I am trying to check the logs using Putty. Port 22. Is this right? It just sits there for a minute or two then times out. Incidently I can putty to my ipcop (linux) firewall, so I don't think anything is being blocked.

On Cordel's Fedora build - is there a service I need to enable for remote shell to work? I've been randomly turning services on but don;t see anything that appears to work.

thanks everyone!
