Sun reflection

hi,
I need some help with the sensitivity. I have a cam in the driveway facing east. In the Afternoon, sun being from the west, i get a sun reflection from cars passing by on the road. The reflection hits the cam and triggers an alarm in the zone i am watching. What settings would be best to ignore the reflection ?

I would suggest that the first thing to look at may be the max pixel threashold. With a reflection the pixels will be much changed from their previous values so if you cap the difference at perhaps 60 or so then maybe it will help somewhat. It comes down to experimentation a bit and checking what the stats say for alarms that have already happened. Ther new version 1.22.1 keeps stats on the average pixel difference for alarmed pixels which may well help in your circumstance.

This is just the events listing. If you have ZM_RECORD_EVENT_STATS on you should gets a 'stats' link when viewing events and event images. This will have more useful information.
