Missing jpegs

I have managed to get ZoneMinder up and running on a Suse 9.2
box, but am having some problems with the event jpegs.

When I first start the system, everything runs as expected, with
motion detect events being generated, and associated jpegs.

After a while, I'm not sure what the factors might be, the jpegs
no longer get generated in the events directories - in all other
respects the event looks good, with a collection of frames listed
with the alarm frames highlighted.

Does this sound familiar to anybody?

What are the errors listed in your logs?

The logs told me that there were access problems when deleting unwanted jpegs.
In the end I started afresh with a new database, checked all the
ZM related files and corrected access rights where necessary.
All has run well since - hurrah!
