kickstart help with X10

Hi,
Can anybody help me getting started with X10?
what hardware do I have to buy? I think its something attached to the serial port, but I didn't find anything surfing the web...
some link to learn from?

Hi David.
You must to:
1. Buy X10 CM11 computer interface
2. TM13 Transceiver Module
3. Download perl module ActiveHome.pm; dovnload perl module SerialPort.pm

But ZM not working with x10 correctly...problem with shared memory e.t.c.

can anybody give me some more detailed information on how to get X10 working with zoneminder?

what do I have do download? frome where?
what to install? how?

I need ZoneMinder to get and give alarm signals to a security system.
(i just got marmitek CM11, SM10E, UM7206)
