live stream on box, whhat like a texture in directx programming?

lol i wouldnt spend too much on it but i think it would make a cool cycle/sequential switch view but not for serious use. But would definetly look cool!

Glad you have the opengl stuff sorted, i think that 92xx ati would be a min spec anyway.

Yes exactly texture.
Current opengl version I made by putting the texture with live stream on quadrat. There is now much diffrence on putting it on box...

How about for a practical use
When changing from 4 to 9 way split put all images as a texture move viewpoint away from cube, rotate from 4 way view to 9 way view, move viewpoint closer to fill screen again?

I had to rethink one more my opengl code.
Now I'm changing viewport to put another monitor on the screen. The texture is always put on the same object, but the buffers are not cleared so you see previous viewport too.
So what you want it's not so easy to implement.
The textures must be 2^n size. I'm using 1024x1024.
And I'm putting the image only on the part of texture.
I hope you understand.
Take a look at my code. Maybe you'll have some better idea to make it...

Is the opengl version working for you correctly? How about cpu usage?

I had to read the whole programming guide of opengl to know every possibilities...

I doubt it mate i know as much c as i know spanish!
It was just an idea i did a little dirextx programming while bored a few months ago but i suppose it must be similar to opengl, all camera angles and locations.
Im havnt installed your app as yet as im working from home today and the only zm boxes i have access to are in my loft!

I looked at directx for the interpolation etc of the images myself for zm , but as windows has mmx, sse3 etc its not hard to do it on the processor and no hit, as long as you r only doing quick and small interpolations. I tried a 30Megapixel high quality bicubic interpolate with smooth and pixel offset and it took 8 seconds on my fx 53!!!

It looks like a problem with libs or drivers.
Also check fglrxinfo

If you don't have there ati vendor it indicates that drivers are badly installed. I had many problems with installing these ati drivers on my box. Maybe you have the same problem.

What distro you are running?
use rpm.pbone.net and look for package containing mysql.h
It is something like that:mysqlclient14-devel
Also check the path in source code in line 57.

Its probably the path as i used the old version (pre opengl) fine. Im not at the machine at the moment i will have a look tomorrow mate

Probably you didn't recompiled the source.
mysql.h was in version starting in 0.2 or 0.3

Just to pick this up,
Try editing your makefile to link in the lib for mysql.
Here is a snip from mine:

Drop the 64 unless your using a 64 bit proc/os.

there was a dedicated version per version of zm, so i assume this will only work with 1.22.2
