automatic zoom when motion detected

Hi all,

As far as i know it is not possible to let Zoneminder automatic zoom in when motion is detected and start recording with PTZ-camera's.
On the other hand there are also PTZ-cameras (Sony cameras i heard) that can zoom in on motion detection by their own. Maybe somebody got some practical expercience with this feature?
What i want is that when the camera detects motion and start zooming, zoneminder also detects motion but starts recording.

If a camera zooms in on a subject then the image will probably change enough that ZM will detect motion anyway.
