ok leave that for a bit and see what your recprded events look like, its possible that the machine is overloaded, What cameras/card you using, I also think that 10 cams are too much for a 1.1 Ghz machine. I have a duron 750 at home that I use that manages 2 with mocord but any more is a push for it i would say 4 max regardless of ram count, but lets see

now load average is 1.54 ca. ... also i have the idea that 10 cameras is more for 1.1GHz cpu....now i think upgrade this at 1.8 GHz...but i had 10 cameras that captured at 1.00 Fps...is more for this CPU??
i have 6 digital http cameras and 4 analogic cameras connect to an AXIS 2400 Video Server...and for card you think the video-card?? is integrate with mainboard...is an Intel video card....

with only 1 cam enabled is it working as expected?
I think that 1.1 Gig i s possibly ok for 10 cams at 1 fps, what resolution are you capturing at?

it seems ok...but now i try to connect via ftp....for look if it's a best method for this configuration....perhaps is strange...with set Max Fps parameter zma enter in state alarm e zmc exit abnormally...it seems that ZoneMinder hasn't capacity of capture frame at Max Fps setting...and when zmc capture frame at more disequal framerate, zma enter in alarm state...

I explain you...:
1)with 1 camera load average is ok but alarm state persist...
2)i try now with 4 axis in quad mode in 1 source (704x576) and 2 web cam in other 2 source (640x448 for everyone) on 1.8GHz via http-->load average here seems ok
3)i try with 4 web cam in other 1.1 GHz cpu and try via ftp
...but state alarm is on.....

i have had this with alarm on and i think if you set the zone really slow (unsensitive) turn to mocord wait 10 mins then back to record that should get it. I think it happens when changing to record from mocord/modect when in alarm
