What's the default HTTP port for Apache on latest liveCD ?

Post by msevestre »

Hello !

I have a little question: I would like to know the HTTP port that is used by default on apache on latest ZM liveCD (1.22)...

I currently did on my router at home a port 80 on TCP (nothig on UDP) forwarding to 192.168.1.7 on port 80 but I am am not successfull in accessing from outside (OK inside LAN at home)...

Thanks for your help !

it is port 80, but your isp may block port 80 depending upon your broadband package

Hi!

thanks for the reply... I did not know anything about suhc limitation with my ISP, that's curious.

I also tried to add UDP port 80 forwarding but still not successful...

As everything work on LAN, there's still something strange

well if you cann access it through th elan it would appear that port 80 on the server is open. If you move it to say 82 then see if you cann access it after adjusting the port forward. Most cheaper broadbands block ports 25 and 80 to stop you doing 'server' things. But you can get around it, or pay for a totally unlimited broadband account. You will need to check your package conditions. Also i assume your entering your wan address not your local address
