quit alarm status

Post by marcel »

I installed Zoneminder on a debian sarge system.
All seems working.
many thanks to all who made the documentation.

I defined a small zone at the edge of my first camera image.
and then i put the monitor in alarm (moving something inside the zone)
the monitor goes in 'alarm state' and Zoneminder begins to save images in event directory.
My question:
How do I quit alarm status? How is it possible to return to normal status x minutes after an event?
I think I don't understand something may be because my bad english..
best regards

marcel

Unless your settings are wrong the monitor should return to normal after the alarm has passed plus post alarm image count. If would think that you have your zone set a bit to sensitive

marcel,
Did you set anything on Linked monitors in montor configuration? If so, delete them and try again.
