zone minder does not start

hai all,

i have a problem in filters,

i used the filter purgefull the default in zoneminder by changing 95 to 90

to delete

for the first two days th filter worked and now the disk is full and i

cannot start zone minder,

i deleted nearly 100 events

again it does start

can anybody tell me what is the problem in it

navigate to where your images are stored and remove a few event folders

Oliver I took this to mean that his filter worked correclty for 2 days now his disk is full, not that he deleted 2 days worth manually and it still wont work?!

What can happen is if you have made more or modified additional filters eg email/ftp etc and there is an error with one of them it will stop ALL filters from running. You will need to check the logs to find out why your filters are stalling but you need zm to be running first. My previous post will not fix the problem but will 'make' some space to enable zm to start and then the filters to run.
