Large Events (12GB) filling up hard drive every night

Post by jeffshern »

Every night it seems that I get very large events filling up my hard drive. Each morning I have to go in and erase the events.

I am running 1.22.2 (with the cameras set in modect), is anyone else seeing this kind of behavior? I thought that there was a ceiling on the largest event size.

localhost 1 # du -k 90139 90149
11969952 90139
154780 90149

(there are several more, these are the largest in this camera)

Looking at these events, I really don't see any motion.

Jeff

If you go to view event window and then click on still, you should be able to find the moment that causes the event. As James said high senstivity will always causes alarms.

Also, I have some questions:
1. Did you switch off the light?
place doesn't have enough light may confuse the camera.

2. Did you put anything on linked monitors ?
Putting something, especially the camera itself, on this option may cause the monitor locked in alarm state forever.

3. IS the camera connection good?
event may also caused by images that doesn't send correctly( sorry for my bad english, I think imean noise on the images)
