Post by BABYGOAT »

Hey all,
Love the work being done here we are currently implementing ZM into our company!!
On a personal note is there any current or future releases being written for ( dare i say it ) WINDOWS XP??????

I use microsoft at home and am still just learning linux, and was wanting to play around with ZM at home.

Sooooo has it been done yet?? or is anyone likely to try??

Would greatly appreciate any help and or feedback.
I hope this hasnt been bought up yet as i didn't find anything here about it.

no there are no current plans to port to xp and this is very unlikely. There is an xp client but the real work is done on the linux platform. There are a few windows based recorder type programs already available, so id recommend using one of those

While this may not be what the OP is asking, but it is very possible that ZM could run on Windows XP inside a Cygwin installation. You would have to setup all the needed apps, but I don't see why it couldn't be done. (There may be reasons that I don't know of.)

If there was somebody interested in giving it a shot... who knows?!
