GrandTec WiFi Camera

Post by joky »

Hi everybody,

i've bought a grad wifi-cam for a quick and dirty installation. The cam looks quite good, i get fine pictures at low price.

But unfortunately i can't integrate the jpeg-pictures (hosted on http://192.168.0.61/still.jpg with http-auth) into ZM.

Any ideas?

Here's the link to the manuf:

thank you!!

i got it, the problem was that the shm-buffer size was too small (as written in http://www.zoneminder.com/index.php?id= ... faq_faq=10)

I remember, I had the same problem grabbing pictures bigger than 480x360 via bttv.

Grand IP Cameras, at least the Wifi and "III"-Models are working fine!

Remote Host Name root:admin@ip.of.the.cam
Remote Host Port 80
Remote Host Path /still.jpg

The only disadvantage is the low image quality on daylight, the dark, flashing infrared LED's. But at the price of about 80 euro it's ok.

best regards, erwin

Good news. If they aren't there already would you mind adding these to the supported hardware section of the Wiki?

i will!
i just ordered a few more examples of these devices, i want to ensure that you can surely say - yes they're working.
i dont want a solution like "the are working on 70% of all cases" ;)

this camera seems to be able to output only 4-5fps via ZM

i've tested to view it directly with zm and it looks much faster at 15-30fps

any ideas to make it run at 15fps or more

thanks
