Hello Camera experts,
I need to buy an outdoor PTZ camera and am looking for addvice. I want to get a camera that somebody has already installed and is using via ZM. I have been looking at the Internet cameras and know that they are rather pricey, But, it is something I need and so I have to pay. I want to try to get one for under 1300.00 including any protective enclosures.
Any help would be appriecated.

The Gadspot Pan/Tilt GS1600 is working fine here. (No Zoom) (Apart from some minor quibbles mentioned elsewhere in the forum).
By far the cheapest serious option around that I could find, at <£500 for everything, including perfectly adequate enclosure. (Which is £200 alone if you buy from Axis!)
Axis's hardware is great, works with everything and gives good performance. However, they are often seriously expensive and the balance needs to be made.
