hello all,

i started the zoneminder installation today on my Trixbox box (Asterisk PBX distro, on Centos 4). What betther than a pbx+dvr in the same box ?

i'm getting these errors when i try to install Device::SerialPort Perl module:

Did you ever get zoneminder to install on Trixbox?

right now, its running on my Trixbox 1.1.1, flawlessly, with 3 remote cams, 1 usb, and an 8-port compisite card ;)

I didn't notice your first post originally, did you just 'force install' Device::SerialPort?

Did you install from RPMs or some other method? If you have any links to a tutorial to install on Trixbox that would be great.

I had created rpms for centos but have not done so for a while so what is on the ftp is fairly old and possibly will not work with the latter versions of cent. My appologies as at this time space for the computer lab have been limited as well as my time as work has me traveling alot.
I'm hoping to get cought up on all this in the next few months but space is a big issue at the moment.
