Best 8 Port Card?

Post by darkage »

Whats the best 8 port card on the market that works perfect with zoneminder?

Looking at buying two 8 port cards or even a 16 port one depending on price.

the ones we recommend are in the wiki under supported hardware. These are cards we or others have bought on the off chance and made work. If you get another card and you get it working please add this to the wiki

cheers

Yes I know about the wiki. I should of rephrased my question. I was more after which card is the best quality to purchase. The only way I can tell is via the pricing of the product. Geo vision cards are the most expensive, are they the best? Avermedia are a little cheaper then you have kodicoms (forgot how to spell it) bordering the generic price range. then you have your complete generics.

So from that context, which one is the most well engineered card.
