I am trying to find a way to view Zoneminder on Internet Explorer without installing anything. Because of domain security restrictions, I can not grant all users the ability to install cambozola. Nor can I install a codec on a bunch of PCs. The ffmpeg mpeg streams do not work in IE. (I think this is a codec issue.) I have not gotten the Berkeley mpeg encoder to install...so if anyone knows this will work on windows without installing a code I will use it.
Is there something I'm missing or are there other options?
best way to view mpeg stream on Internet Explorer?

you dont need to install cambazola on the client but you do need java on the client, if you use ffmpeg and then use mpeg streaming you will need media player. The only other way is to use stills and refresh say every 2-4 seconds

Does it matter the type of IP cam you are using? I have the NC1600.jameswilson wrote:you dont need to install cambazola on the client but you do need java on the client, if you use ffmpeg and then use mpeg streaming you will need media player.
