Zone Setup
I have been using ZM for some time now and am now trying to better understand how zone setup works. I have a camera pointed at our travel trailer outside and am getting more events than I care to go thru. Below are the settings for my zone, is there anything I can do to reduce the amount of false recordings?
Things that seem to cause false recording are leaves blowing through the zones, rain and lighting changes.
Thanks
Rick

you have used almed pixels in your previous post, chnag ethis to blobs and adjust sensitivity. Would also recommend using 1.22.2 as you can shape the zone how you like

Ok I am beginning to make some progress however I need some help on this zone. This is the bigger zone in the middle from above.
The first frame to indicate an alarm is well into the zone. I would think that it would alarm as soon as I walk into the zone.
There are several frames prior to this one that should be in alarm state but are not. Most likely the settings for the zone are not correct.

I would guess that the min blob size would need to be reduced a bit. However I tried that and detection appeared to take place later. I will do more testing and see.
Also as james mentioned upgrading to 1.22, I am using the LiveCD version. How would I perform and upgrade to the latest version?
Thanks
