Zoneminder with Spectra8 on Ubuntu - No images.
Well, I've spent over 2 hours trying to get this system working. I've got an iTuner Spectra8 PCI capture card. The BTTV Linux driver loads and finds it just fine.
I have 4 cameras, spitting out a composite signal on a BNC connector, directly connected to the Spectra8. However, I can't get a stable image at all.
It ether alternates between red/blue, or I get gibbled images that randomly look half-decent or the colors get all mixed up and it looks like crap. Ether way, Zoneminder appears to be working but I cannot capture a proper image.
Can anyone tell me if the Spectra8's actually work, and if so, how you've configured your Spectra8 card with Zoneminder?
I'm not sure if this is a driver issue or what, but none of the inputs (4) work properly.
Cheers!

This is the line you want to pay attention to:
options bttv card=42,42,42,42 pll=1 radio=0 tuner=4 sloppy=1 chroma_agc=1 mmap=1 vbibufs=4 v4l2=1 gbuffers=16
Check your kernel documents and make sure that the bttv card number is the same in your distro. From there your on your own as I know nothing of ubuntu.

Corey
