to use https you need to tell zm4ms to use https and you need a signed or self signed certificate and install thet cert

James,

I finally figured out what the problem is with my XP Pro install. Initially, if I just waited and did nothing ZM4MS would crash in about 30 seconds. To get around this crash, I would really "hustle" and get one camera setup within that 30 second time frame. If I complete one camera setup and clear out all the other "default" camera settings within 30 seconds, everything works fine.

perhaps i need to chjange the defaults. The only thing i can assume is the default address pulled in something nasty on your network, it really shouldnt lock like that i have done loads of work to make sure it will run for months on end and ignore major errors

Hi James,

as I said some posts ago I would to contribute an italian translation for zm4ms, can you help me to begin, please?

I have the folder ViseonViewer2_1_0_0_1090 with some files in it, I suppose I have to replace english words that belongs to the gui with italian ones and then recompile with visual studio. If this isn't correct can you point me to the right way to do this?

sorry if my questions are trivial this is my start with visual studio

i dount you will be able to do that, as the files you have are compiled ones. I will have to rewrite parts so that the word are pulled form a language file instead of hard coded as they are now. Plus zm4ms isnt an open source project. so you wont be able to edit files directly. When i next do anything major to zm4ms i will include an italian option in the settings. So whatever words are wrong and where if you list them here i will add it to the next release
