Hi there,
I have experience a strange problem. When I setup the ZoneMinder 1.2.2, my card works without problem. however, when I update to ZoneMinder 1.2.3; compile without problem; when i login to ZM, all I see is the grey box (the monitor) without image;
I have double check the card (install in M$-win XP), it works..
The following is the dmesg
System
AMD XP2000 CPU
2.6.18 kernel.
Fedora 5

The upgrade
OK, here is what I did
I use Ubuntu 5.05 and install the ZM with my SAA7134 card. it works.
After I run the apt-get update/upgrade stuff. the system seems have some problem.
I install the new system using ubuntu 6.0 and install ZM 1.2.3, after that it does not work any more; i even try to down-grade to ZM 1.2.2 ..and did not have any luck. I try everything I know but ..end up writing this post ..
