Hi,
I've purchased two KMC8800 for friends. One of the cards in an old IBM P3 works perfect, but for the 2nd machine the A-open P3 motherbaord it is incompatible. How can I tell. Well when you first power on the system if there are any lights present on the DVR card, it wont work.
So can ppl with this same card please tell me what Motherboard(s) you are using with this card. I hope to duplicate someone elses setup to make sure it works fine! (:
Many thanks.

Are you aware of this issue? (sorry, Dutch, but it's about notches) ;
I didn't
And now I have two Avermedia EZ Gold cards (5V only) in the wrong machine because of that. I need a 3.3V PCI card and if I'm not mistaken the KMC-8800 is of that type (actually it's universal if I see it correctly on the pictures).
There are not a lot of multiple input DVR cards out there which are universal PCI so I was hoping that the KMC 8800 did a good overall job (despite the driver isssues).
I am not so sure know. I read in other threads that the image quality isn't on par either. Hope thats not true

I bought the card and it doesn't work in systems with a 3.3V PCI bus. I guess they've used the wrong PCI PCB. Most of the capture cards don't have that second notch and cards who don't have that second notch indicates that it's 5V only.
Too bad, I gave up the quest to find a cheap multi channel video capture card on 3.3V
