Hi,
I am using ZM 1.22.3 with FC6. All the Axis 210A cameras are plugged in the network with reserved IP. When I go to http://localhost/zm/index.php, it shows "ZoneMinder Console - Stopped - v1.22.3". I tried configuring one of my Axis 210A camera as:
--------------------
Monitor - Camera1 Presets
General Source Timestamp Buffers Misc
Parameter Value
Name Camera1
Source Type Remote
Function Monitor
Enabled yes
Linked Monitors
Maximum FPS 4
Alarm Maximum FPS 10
Reference Image Blend %ge 7
Triggers None available
-----------
Remote Host Name 192.168.103.151
Remote Host Port 80
Remote Host Path /axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi?
Remote Image Colors 24 bit color
Capture Width (pixels) 640
Capture Height (pixels) 480
Orientation Normal
------------------
But when I click on zones, I get blank image area. When I try to set the preset for Axis (I tried all of them), it gives me a messag saying "Unknown column 'DefaultView' in 'field list'". Can anyone help me with this problem?
Thanks

Hi,
I'm using the same camera and basically use the same settings except that I have to specify a bit more the following:
Remote Host Name username:password@92.168.103.151
Remote Host Port 80
Remote Host Path /axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi?resolution=320x210
that is: add a username and password in case you have security enabled and the resolution needs to be set as well.
Hope that helps

Hi Corey,
Thanks for all your help yesterday. Before leaving from my office yesterday, I got one camera configured for live streaming and I was also able to see the zone image. But after I restarted the server, now I can not see live stream or a still image from the camera. I haven't made any changes. When I click on the camera name, it displays a blank image with a broken image icon. Below this image box, it shows "Status: Idle - 0.0 fps".
Can you please tell me what may be the reason?
Thank
hrparikh

You need to adjust your shared memory. The following thread will help you out with that:
http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... gs_mean.3F
Also make sure you disable for the time being, mpeg streaming, I seen zms crashing allot trying to stream mpeg4. That would be a problem with ffmpeg.
set in options under the "images" tab:
ZM_CAN_STREAM auto
ZM_STREAM_METHOD jpeg
ZM_OPT_CAMBOZOLA checked
ZM_PATH_CAMBOZOLA cambozola.jar
ZM_OPT_MPEG no
I installed cambozola for you last night before the windstorm knocked me out.
This will allow you to view mjpeg streams on most browsers (firefox supports it natively) and will get you around the problem your having with ffmpeg.
ffmpeg tends to break allot as they don't release very often and what you get from CVS changes all to frequently. I had a build snapshot that I had patched that worked really well and was ready to release as a snapshot before the drive that it was on crashed and I could not recover much from it (this includes all the work for the new distro and fc6 rpms ). So I'm now on the look out for a 3Ware 6 or 8 channel SATA RAID card.
If you can get mjpeg going we can deal with ffmpeg down the road.
Regards,
Corey

Dear Corey,
Everythings working perfectly fine . I need one more favor from you. Can you please let me know how to apply the patch you recommended? I know the forum link http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... ght=preset
But as I am new to Linux, I could not figure out how to apply that patch. It would be great if you can tell me the exact way to apply that patch ( i mean step by step commands).
Thanks
