How to detect and set the card to its best supported mode

Post by dusman »

Hi thee,

I have a cctv card that said it supports 8-port real-tine capture; however, when i connect the cam with zoneminder, i use local mode (192.168.1.x/zm/) to view the page, the streaming is not smooth. I would like to know if there is any parameter I could config in module.conf to make sure the card is setup to its best supported mode?

Thanks .

zm will be giving mjpeg and no it will not be smooth, it will record at 25fps but its difficult to get that from mjpeg. Does it say 25fps at the bottom of the image when viewing?
