Got zoneminder mostly working, broken image though

Ok, I have Debian unstable with Apache 1.3.34.

There are no errors in the zoneminder logs, there are no errors in my apache logs.

I read the FAQ, I read the troubleshooting section of the readme.

I searched the forum.

I downloaded and installed cambozola, I have ffmpeg, I tried using IE when Firefox didn't work. I tried streaming mpeg or jpeg, I tried viewing a stream or stills. Every time I still get a broken image.

The camera is currently set to monitor, if I set it to record I can view the images from the event. That's only by browsing to the directory in which their stored, otherwise apache tries to find the files in /var/www/var/www/images/. If I change ZM_DIR_EVENTS to /events then nothing gets saved to the directory /var/www/events/.

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated, I wish I had some clue as to what was going on.

Copying the zms and nph-zms files to /usr/lib/cgi-bin and the web path to zms to /cgi-bin/zms worked
