upgrading from 1.22.0 to 1.22.3 and some comments

Post by sugacapra »

ok,
after a bit of panic (cams images disappear totally) i remake all the "cam source" redefining zone and etc, and it work perfectly.
Also, very great work, the same CPU have a better grab capacity and much more events are caught (so maybe also some algorythm was improved?) and recorded.

So a standing ovation for you, cause now is much more better than before (1.22.0)

something i really missed (or maybe... something i have missed if already is on and i've not noticed it) is a page or a little resume of what filters are running on (maybe a sort of list of "filter at work")
also, the "running in background" ones, run also if i close the client webpage or run ONLY if i've the page open ?
(cause today i find 100% of space occupied... and it seem a bit strange to me, maybe i've done something stupid.. need to check)

p.s.
I notice that there is some translation error (in italian, my translation is the it_it1 if i remember) so in a couple of days (maybe.. some weeks) i will correct and resend you another version

I agree. I find a little bit tricky to understand which filters are working. I have the same
problem with disk at 100%. Zmfilter.log says (see a different thread near here):

16/01/2007 06:30:38.262715 zmfilter[26296].DBG [Found filter 'PurgeWhenFull']
omissis
16/01/2007 06:30:38.263776 zmfilter[26296].DBG [Checking filter 'PurgeWhenFull', delete]

Does the last line mean that events are deleted or the filter itself was discarded?

I understand YOU did the italian translation of zm.
I, as italian guy, found it very clear and complete

Thank you

mmm, appear that it's running the filter and that the function "delete" was active... now i can't check mine, but late in the morning i read my logs
and try to find if it's the same here.

grazie,
other 2 guys had translated before me, i try to reorganize and check and
correct some little errors, also adding the news sentences and (hope)
translating the pop-up help of the options (in future) this program is really
a great work, and for me as really useful, so i try to help with my little
cents..

I agree that it would be useful to see the currently backgrounded filters so I have added that to the bug list.

Tnanks for your comments and if you update the Italian translation please send it in!

I have just remembered that the filter list functionality is partially available already, though not in a very good format. In the filter view when you select the dropdown, the filters that are backgrounded have a '*' after them.

It's not perfect but it's a start.
