Does anyone have a capture card with a working monitor out feed? I see a couple of 4 port cards that have this electrical feature, but no info on whether it really works. Kind of pricey also...
What I would like is to be able to feed all 4 channels out in a montage or a scroll (with titles if possible) to a upstairs monitor.
Noticed that the Kodicom cards have a video out feature...that v4l says is not enabled.
here is another...

It's called PICO2000© Basic Plus (UCC4P capture cards).
So I suppose these features are given by the software, which are not supported by ZM.This card was introduced in late 2003 with the following additions:
Hardware Synchronization - Provides steadier and better quality video without compromising frame rates.
TV-Out and Audio - A feature new to the series is on-board TV-Out. This means taking a real-time video feed directly from the board to a TV screen. This feed is independent of the recording and other PICO2000© features and so has no affect on performance. Users can select any one of up to sixteen cameras for TV display or can sequence through selected cameras. There are two connections on the board for TV-Out, one at the front and one at the back, for convenience. An Audio input jack (for recording) is now standard on this board.

Id also like to add that if the developers were sent new hardware by the community, supporting stuff you have access to for testing is a lot easier than guessing how it works

Well the developers could also write along the donation links, something like 'donate hardware'.jameswilson wrote:Id also like to add that if the developers were sent new hardware by the community, supporting stuff you have access to for testing is a lot easier than guessing how it works
