I noticed that NewEgg has this webcam for free after rebate (well, plus shipping), til the end of today (April 25).

I was just wondering whether anyone had any experience w/ these? Does it work fine w/ the same linux driver as the other Creative cams?
At this price, I wouldn't even feel guilty about cracking it open and trying the infrared-filter-removing mod that's all the rage..
