Zoneminder 1.22.3-6 In Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy Gibbon)

Post by jethro10 »

I did a search honest, but could not find a result. So I though i'd tell everyone that ZM is in Ubuntu repositories for the next release in 4 months.

Should make it a lot easier to install for a lot of people.

Nice, that should make things easier to just 'apt-get install zoneminder' =)

At which point I can close my local ftp site down.

(I knew it was there; but wasn't going to bother mentioning it until the Gibbon was loose)

Might want to keep it up. I still have a Dapper server up, and I am sure others have legacy systems as well. But the demand should drop!

What should happen is that once the Gibbon is released it will get "backported" to those earlier releases still under support. Which reminds me I should get onto my "tame" MOTU about getting that done. . .
