Success Story

Post by Telemann »

So I promised a 25$ donation a week ago. I'd like to apologize for the delay (I was out of town for a week). As it turns out. It was worth the wait.

I've had a burglar that has hit my place of business 3 times in 4-5 months. I had an existing 4 camera cctv system that sucked, and was recorded to VHS. I replaced it with zoneminder, and we caught the guy (scroll down for his zoneminder-captured picture).

I donated $50 this morning. Thanks to the authors. Thanks to the people who helped me get it working. Thanks everybody. Lets hope he goes to jail for a long long time :)

Now if only i can get ffmpeg to play nice ;-p

That rocks. It great to hear stories like this. I actually have some footage somewhere with a guy that was convicted for stealing cameras. These cameras where setup on a ZM system that I had put together for some friends.
