Hi There,

I´m having trouble configuring cambozola.jar. It worked like a charm when I had Zoneminder installed in /var/www/zm, but with the http://packages.debian.org/unstable/net/zoneminder package installation, the Zoneminder pages are in /usr/share/zoneminder. I copied the file cambozola.jar to this folder but when I try to view images using internet explorer, the page recognizes the applet, but doesn´t show me the image, just a blank frame appears with a red 'X' in the upper left corner. When I click on the right mouse button in the blank frame I´m able to see the error log concerning the applet load, it says:

Do you hava any idea of what is happening? Do I have to configure any link to this file like I did to the zoneminder folder in the apache2 configuration file?
I noticed that zoneminder is accessing the cambozola.jar file but is not able to resolve it. Is it a permission problem? I already ran chmod 775 on the file and chown to my root on the zoneminder folder, but nothing worked.

with debian, the user www-data has to access the file. I just copy it in, and set the path in options, and it works. Are you useing the old version of cambozala from the ZM website?

I have the same problem on fedora core 7, I have done a new installation of zm, the only difference to std is my zm installation is not in /var/www/zm.

I am using the version of cambazola as I was with a previous installation of zm (1.20) and core 6 of fedora.

any ideas?

same problem here, i can see pictures of the recorder events, but i cant see stream in the montage view.

i was using feisty in 2 servers, now i change to dapper one of them. I have to change the hard drive couse coundt get my 320G sata to work, i setup an ide 320G.

it could be nice if someone help me to setup cambozola like in the dapper alternate guide, but in feisty. i already paste cambozola.jar into zoneminder dir and setup zoneminder to that path without any lock.

I have done this now on 4 Ubuntu systems, both edgy and feisty, with Peter's .deb and no problems. I download cambozola.jar and put it in /usr/share/zoneminder (with sudo) and enable in options->Images. The files in my .jar are all dated September 10th 2002.

Go into the web console, -> options under the vidio tab and put a checkmark in the box to enable the use of cambozola.

I have my zm files in another place than /var/www
I have cambozola in my zm folder with the owner as apache

I get "File does not exist: /<my web path>/zm/com" in the apache error log.

why is it looking for this file, is it truncated from something?

Just previewed this and noticed it is trying to find "http://wrighttwo/zm/com/charliemouse/ca ... ewer.class"
can this be right?

I do not compile cambozola. I use the binary on the zoneminder download page. On that page it talks about issues with the later versions. I guess you found them.
