Gadspot GS1600H
The GS1600/1600H is my preferred choice (and the one I had before it died) - the problem is that it is very hard to get the 1600 - they are out of stock almost everywhere. I bought the 4600 in hopes that I could use it as a direct replacement. Alas, the MPEG-4 vs. JPEG format make it difficult, if not not impossible to get static JPEG pics from the 4600...
Hi Samiam75
I'm still looking for help with the motion detection under IMMP4Control.ocx

You need to use the IMMP4Control.ocx to capture to JPG there is no jpeg file held on the camerasamiam75 wrote: http://*cameraip*/test.cmp seems to work to capture the video/audio stream, so I assume that there is a similar way to capture a still pic.
I have some japanese 'offline' software that convert AV 2 AVI - message me with your email addr and I will send it to you (av2avi.exe - windows only !!)samiam75 wrote: Alternatively, has anyone figured out a way convert their .AV formats to .AVI offline, or to get their FTP client to send .JPG instead .AV files?

Hey there,
I just bought a wlan ip cam, running on MPEG4, also providing the stream at http://ip:port/test.cpm.
After couple of hours I managed to import the TIMMP4Control.ocx as package into my delphi6, and I am currently goofing around a bit. However I dod not manage to get the ocx' internal motion control giving me feedback. However I am optimistic this might not be too hard as soon I find some manual for the TIMMP4Control.
anyone who wants to share some experiance is welcome to email me at dwayne(at)gmx.org or in this board as long the owner doesn't mind windows babbling
See ya
