SERIUS PROBLEM: apache hungs after few hours of streaming

Post by gab74 »

I use zoneminder with ciclyng function. The client mozilla (running on the same server under gnome) is always opened to show films in relatime...after 2 hours the server become slow...i see that apache uses all memory and all swap.....

I cannot think that a 2core AMD64 with 1GB RAM and a free disk of 250GB hungs after 2 hours with only 3 CAMERAS attached

Is there a solution to this serious apache2 problems ??

Please i need a quick answer to this serious problem on my production machine...

It's most likely not an Apache problem but more the browser hogging the resources.
The fix is to not use a browser on the zm server since we have no control over the browser. You can try to disable caching and such in the browser which may help.

The live stream viewer is the only way to view live streams on the host.
