is possible to limit the duration of the events?

hello, my question is that i have a camera looking at a place i which people is moving all the time, and i want to limit the duration of the events... because all the events that i can get are very big, and is beeter for me if something happen, locate the correct event.


Any help please (i tried to search on the forum, but nothing appears) and also the wiki.....

If it did, that would just cause the movement to trigger another event. It would be better to spend some time working on the triggers so that unimportant movement is not a problem. Read the section on configuring zones a few times. It took more than one read for me...

so. is not possible? my idea is create a new event every 5 minutes.....

If there is motion there all the time, then why even both using motion detection? Just put it in record mode and have it run all the time. You can configure the length of the video with the "Section Length" option under the "Misc" tab in the configuration.

Try that...

but this is not working, i only can get a big big event......

By default, you get a 10 minute event. How long does the motion last?
