Just out of curiousity. Where would I download this? Either I am on crack or jpwilson.eu does not have any direct links on the page.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. THanks.

Hi James. I sent a contact to your web page to download ZM4MS but he (and I) could not find a link to download. Your instructions at the beginning of this thread say:
Please visit
http://www.jpwilson.eu/
and then zm4ms
Thanks
But that did not appear correct. Could you please update your web page with a download URL or show me where it is found? Thanks.

Unhandled Exception

Post by suckernow »

Hey there JW,

I just tried the newest(??) version 2.89b and I keep getting an unhandled exception from time to time. I did install the software an a different computer. Same thing ...

What might be the problem??

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system>
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Unhandled Exception

Post by suckernow »

OS is Win XP SP2

.net Version
How do find out the excat version?

I guess it is .net 2.
When installing the first PC during the setup .net was download ... the second PC alreaday had .net installed.

Hmmmm. replicate ... that's hard because the message usually pops up on its own without any user interaction. Live viewer just sits there and shows all my 9 cameras and then every minute or so this error comes up.

Not sure what I can do to give you more details to debug the error ...

unfortunatly without knowing why its happening its gonna be pretty hard to track down. DO you have the window maximised? What settings are different etc. If you we can find out why its happening then i can fix it. As it doesnt happen on my own machines and we cant replicate it then its gonna be a tough one to find
