Network Camera Servers

Post by JBAlbany »

Does software exist for Windows and/or Linux that would allow me to use computers, with attached USB cameras, all over my house as "Network Cameras" serving video to my yet to be built ZM server?

Thanks.

I've been trying camstream on a laptop saving to a samba share on the zm box... mostly works but now and then the zmc bombs out either because of an empty file or a corrupt jpeg. Looks like it's clashing and trying to read just at the point that the laptop is trying to upload the frame.
