ZM4MS password for Zoneminder

Post by daves »

This is probably a dumb question :)

I have installed ZM4MS viewer 2.89a on my wifes system, with zone minder on my linux system. I can connect to zoneminder from MS firefox no problem but when I boot ZM4MS it asks for a username and password ?

I checked /etc/zm/sm.conf and it has them listed as zmuser & zmpass but ZM4MS says they are invalid. I am obviously missing something - what username and password is it looking for ?

Cheers

Dave

as above you need to login as admin admin and then setup zm4ms to work with your systems

Hi James, thanks a lot.
Sorry but I saw only now that your are the ZM4MS ideator :-)
Let me know one thing, why do you prefer to work on a client ?
I think that web application is easier, my next target is to spend time and resources to work on the html.

You don't think so?

Have a nice week end, Paolo.

I think that web interfaces are superb, but i prefer for normal people that are not so web savvy to use a client app, like i still use word, outlook etc on my own machine.

Its only an alternative and doesnt do everything the web ui does.
