I've got my site back up and running now, but thanks for the offer, much appreciated.

The offer remains open if you want mirror space for your .iso file. Anything up to 1GB is ok with me.

Waow. cool, I would like to know too how stable is ZM on puppylinux. great job.
It seems pretty stable, has run for maybe 2 days but just with one cam, and monitoring only. I would expect it to just keep going, space for images etc will of course become a problem at some stage. A hdd install, or even just mounting a hdd for storage will be a good idea.

The iso is now ready to download, doubleburgerbar.com/watchdog/
please read the readme.txt on that page first.

If you download the iso, please let me know how it works for you, thats the only way i can improve it.

Thanks, i will take you up on your offer once i get a beta version ready, maybe in the next week or so.

I wont need anything like 1GB though, at the moment the iso weighs in at 195MB, and has everything needed to run zm.

Some webcam modules are already in the system, others i may have to compile.

Theres a link in my previous post to the download site.

Ive now compiled a driver for the logitech quickcam, see this link.

One user already has a working system.

I've had little feedback from this forum, is there anyone interested in testing this ?.

It should take an experienced zoneminder user less than 5 minutes to have a working system.

There's an updated version now available, all services are now automatic, so to get a working zoneminder system up and running you do this.

1) Put Cd in machine and reboot.
2) Wait a short while (it does take a while to copy pup_216.sfs, this is normal)
3) type xorgwizard - make some choices.
4) modprobe your cam (script now being written to automate this).
5) start browser, change stopped to start.

Done.

It really can be as easy as that.
