64 Bit OS Support?

Post by Carlwill »

Does ZoneMinder work on a machine that runs a 64 bit Linux OS? I have searched the forums and FAQ's and nothing is ever noted. All the .deb packages I found for ZoneMinder were i386.

Thanks for any info!
It said install Windows 98 or better so I installed Linux...

i have ZM running on FC5 64bit. compiler had -O3 as a flag, so generic answer is - yes, it does.
if common sense is so uncommon, why is it called common then?

OK - so I assume you did not download a specific tarball for your 64 bit OS and just downloaded the latest version, right?
