IP cams

Post by bobthebob1234 »

Does anyone know of any IP cams that work with the zoneminder live cd. If so, how expensive. I have had a look online and most are quite expensive. I do not want to go out and buy one and then find that it does not work.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Any of the IP cams that work with ZoneMinder. You will just have to manually add them.

All in the GUI, if it is a known working cam with no odd patches needed.

Cheap parts can get expensive. Axis is a expensive brand that "just works" almost all the time. D-Link is a cheap brand. Search on D-link to see how well the work. (I do not use IP cams, so I have no personal experience)

Concur. Wasted money on cheaper cameras that either didn't work or at all or had crap quality images or feeds. Axis work great and have the features I need.
