DCS 1000

Post by aspinall »

HI all, I have a DCS 1000 DLink. It seems that not work with this software, but I think that I need the path of the camera.
Does anyone knows it?

Many thanks in advance

I have a DCS-1000W which is a wireless version of the DCS1000. Apart from the awful CCD in the camera and the useless web interface it seems to 'work' so long as you don't point it anywhere too dark or too bright.

The path I use for mjpegs is just /video.cgi, I think stills are at /image.jpg if I remember correctly. It's easy enough to figure out from looking at the source of the web interface for the camera.

Phil,
How is the DCS 1000 working now that ZM can do MJPEG streams? Still at 1fps?

Hi Jose,

Using the mpjpeg stream I think it ticks along at about 10-15fps, which is rather better than before!
